Roy Buchanan—“Hey Joe”

Many thanks to countryandwestern for reminding me of one of the greatest bluesman who ever lived.  If nothing else, Roy B. taught me, as a 13 year-old, to truly appreciate the righteous noise that a Fender Telecaster makes.  Buchanan died under mysterious circumstances in the Fairfax County jail in 1988.

It’s blues, but the twang streetcalledstraight hears is in the Tele. I just picked mine up after about a 6 year absence. Can’t play it for a lick. Yet.
